The NRA Convention gathers most USA tallow producers as well as associate members from Europe, Asia, Oceania and America.

Every participant gave a presentation describing the markets, volumes and the country or region's situation.

In all cases, different topics were addressed, such as:

• Legislation to govern this activity as part of a productive chain that deals with the waste issue, rendering waste as raw material for different uses and virtually eliminating environmental pollution.

On Thursday 26, the sponsors and other participants set up a booth and arranged an exhibition on raw materials, equipments and services for the recycling industry as well as for the oleochemical, soap and food industry
